Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Posted
We're supporting a leading consultancy engaged in the commercial delivery of a major UK energy infrastructure scheme across Kent and Essex, forming part of a significant programme to reinforce and modernise the national high-voltage transmission network.
The project is a key element of the UK's energy transition and involves the replacement of critical legacy infrastructure originally installed in the 1960s. Works include the delivery of a new high-voltage cable tunnel beneath the River Thames between Tilbury (Essex) and Gravesend (Kent), alongside associated cabling, headhouse structures, and upgrades to existing overhead line infrastructure across the wider route.
This nationally significant programme is designed to improve network capacity and resilience, enabling the transfer of cleaner, more affordable energy across the South East and beyond.
With construction already underway, this is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor to gain exposure to complex tunnelling, marine-crossing engineering, and high-voltage transmission works while developing their commercial expertise within a supportive consultancy environment.
